Search for News Items

The News widget allows administrative users to quickly push one-line information to group(s) of agents and other users.

This topic explains how to search for news items in the News widget.

  1. In the inContact WFO Web Portal, click Home Dashboard and then click a dashboard that contains the News widget.
  2. Click the gear icon located in top right corner of the News widget.
  3. Optional: In the Labor Units field, type the name of a labor unit to filter the display based on postings to that labor unit.

    You cannot filter by Labor Unit unless your deployment includes inContact Workforce Management v1.

  4. Optional: Select a inContact Group to filter the display based on postings to that group.
  5. Optional: In the Search News by Keywords field, type one or more keywords to filter the display based on those words.
  6. Optional: Click in the Start Date and End Date fields and then use the date selectors to filter the display based on a date range.
  7. Click Save.
