Application and System Settings Overview

Application and system settings in inContact Workforce Management v1 let you customize various aspects of the system for your organization. These settings are typically configured during installation and should be changed only under the direction of inContact WFO Support. Application and system settings include:

  • Data Settings — Define key parameters used by inContact Workforce Management v1 in creating forecasts, schedules, and reports.
  • Widget Settings — Used to configure integration between inContact WFM v1 and the social media sites Facebook and Twitter. This integration allows announcements in inContact WFM v1 to be pushed out to an organization's social media sites. Also used to configure the refresh rate for all inContact WFM v1 widgets.
  • General Settings — Control functionality associated with the inContact WFM v1 Web Portal, like logins, passwords, and so forth.

    If your system includes both inContact WFO and inContact Workforce Management v1, these settings are also available in the inContact WFO Web Portal, and you should view and administer them there.

  • Services — Provide inContact WFM v1 with information regarding some of its underlying services. These settings are typically configured during installation and should be changed only under the direction of inContact WFO Support.
