Add Streams

Overview
Streams represent the data associated with different contact types, such as outbound, chat, email, and so forth. For call traffic, they are typically the same as the skills, VDNs, or gates in your ACD.
This topic explains how to add Streams in inContact WFMv2.

You must create Stream Profiles before you create Streams. See Add Stream Profiles.
- Click WFOWFMv2 PortalContact Centers Streams.
- If you only have one Environment, skip to the next step. Otherwise, use the Environment drop-down list in the Add New Stream section to select an Environment.
- For Contact Group, select from the drop-down list of available Contact Groups for the Environment. The default value is (Unassigned).
- For Organizational Unit, select from the drop-down list of available Organizational Units for the Environment.
- For Stream Profile, select from the drop-down list of available Stream Profiles for the Environment.
- For Virtual Stream, select Yes or No from the drop-down list.
- For Data Bucket Size, select a value from the drop-down list. Values range from 15 minutes to 1 Year. This field is required.
- Type a value in the Enter Name field. This field is required.
- Type a value in the Enter Description field. This field is required.
- Click Add New Stream.
