Edit ACD Aux Code Assignments

Aux Codes correspond to the aux reasons or codes on your ACD that provide additional information about a work mode. They can be assigned to one or more inContact WFMv2 Breaks, Exceptions, or both.

This topic explains how to edit ACD Aux Code assignments in inContact WFMv2.

For more information, see ACD Settings Overview.

  1. Click WFOWFMv2 PortalContact CentersACDs.
  2. Click the Edit icon for the ACD to which you want to edit aux codes.
  3. Click Advanced to display the ACD Aux Codes section.
  4. Click the Edit icon for the Aux Code you want to assign.
  5. Alternative: Assign Aux Code to BreakClosed
    1. For Type, select Break from the drop-down list.
    2. For Shift, select from the drop-down list of available Shift Templates.
    3. For Break, select from the drop-down list of Breaks for that Shift Template.
    4. Click Add.
    5. Repeat steps A-D until you have associated all appropriate Breaks with this Aux Code.
  6. Alternative: Assign Aux Code to ExceptionClosed
    1. For Type, select Exception from the drop-down list.
    2. For Exception, select from the drop-down list of available Exceptions.
    3. Click Add.
    4. Repeat steps A-C until you have associated all appropriate Exceptions with this Aux Code.
  7. Close the Edit Aux Code Assignments window.
