Delete Forecast Runs

Forecasts are predictions of future call volume based on historical volumes. inContact WFMv2 offers a number of algorithms you can use to produce forecasts. You can delete the results of a completed forecast run. Forecasts with a status of Completed are deleted differently than forecasts with a status of Official or Published.

This topic explains how to delete forecasts in each of the statuses.

Delete Completed Forecasts

  1. Click WFOWFMv2 PortalForecasterManage Forecast Runs.
  2. Click Delete for the forecast you want to remove. This action discards all data generated for the forecast run.
    Alternative: Delete by Date RangeClosed

    If you want to delete multiple completed forecasts at once, you can delete by date range.

    1. Click Delete, represented by the trash can icon, in the upper right corner of the Manage Forecast Runs page.
    2. If your organization has only one Environment, skip this step. For Select Environment, select from the drop-down list of available Environments.
    3. For Date Range, select a starting and ending date using the drop-down lists.
    4. Optional: Select the checkbox for any forecasts you want to Exclude from deletion.
    5. Click Delete Runs.

Delete Official or Published Forecasts

  1. Click WFOWFMv2 PortalOperationsPublished Packages.
  2. Click the Delete icon for the forecast you want to remove. This action discards all data generated for the forecast run, and that forecast will no longer be available to other processes, such as scheduling or planning.
