Required security profile permissions: Security Profile Edit.
Overview
When you create a new security profile or edit an existing one, you can choose the name and optionally write a description for the security profile. If you are editing a security profile, you can view the system-generated unique ID for the profile. If you are creating a new security profile, you can specify whether you want to create an all-new profile or want to copy an existing one to use as a template for the new one.

- ID
- Displays the system-generated unique ID of the security profile. You cannot modify this field.
- Name
- The unique name of the security profile.
- Description
- An optional description of the security profile to provide information about the access granted users with this profile, specify the creator, or other useful details.
- Create
- Specifies whether to create a blank Security Profile with no options pre-selected or to create a Security Profile by copying another. If you select a Security Profile by copying another, you must select the existing security profile you want to use as a template in the drop-down.
