Export Recordings

Required Permission — WFO>Call Recording>Exports>Download, WFO>Call Recording>Exports>Email, or both

The Recorded Interactions page provides access to recordings made by inContact WFO.

This topic explains how to export a recording.

Images in this topic are taken from the Recorded Interactions list with Web Player. If you are using the Recorded Interactions list with HTML5 Interaction Player, things may look a little different but the steps remain the same.

  1. Click WFO Call RecordingRecorded Interactions.
  2. Locate the recording, right-click, and select Export Selected from the pop-up menu.
    Optional: Select Multiple Recordings for ExportClosed

    Select multiple calls using standard Windows methods, then right-click any of the chosen calls and select Export Selected from the drop-down menu.

  3. Select the file format for the exported call.
  4. Optional: Export to Email Closed

    Select the checkbox for Export to Email and type an email address in the Address field.

  5. Click Next.
  6. Optional: Create Filename Mask Closed
    1. Click New.
    2. Type a name for the filename mask in the Name field.
    3. Type the path for the mask in the Mask field.
    4. Optional: To see a preview of how the mask looks when applied to the selected file, click the refresh icon to the right of the Mask field.
    5. Click Save.
  7. Click a filename mask to apply it to the exported recording and then click OK.
