Connectivity Requirements

This page helps you find the domains (FQDNs), IP addresses, ports, and protocols that you need to allow during the implementation of CXone Mpower. For an overview of implementation requirements, you can also review the Implementation page.

  1. Expand each selector on the right side of this page and make selections relevant to your contact center:
    • Ports and Protocols by CXone Mpower Application: Select the applications that your contact center uses, such as Admin, ACD, Email, MAX, and Studio.
    • Domain Names and IP Addresses by Cluster: Select your contact center's cluster. If you don't know your organization's cluster, contact your Account Representative.
    • IP Voice by Phone Number: Select the phone number relevant to your region.
  2. Copy the results from the sections below.

Types of clusters:

  • Commercial: The standard CXone environment.
  • FedRAMP: NICE CXone has received authorization from a government agency sponsor, Army Medical Command (MEDCOM), to operate within the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) market space. This significant endorsement signifies that the NICE CXone FedRAMP environment meets the stringent risk management and security requirements mandated for federal agencies. As a result, NICE CXone offers its premier CXone omnichannel tenant experience tailored specifically for government contact centers.
    The FedRAMP CXone environment is designed as an isolated operational boundary that upholds a significantly higher security standard compared to the commercial environment. This dedicated environment is completely separate from usual operations and employs the most advanced operational processes and security standards available. The FedRAMP environment is fortified with critical security features that include continuous monitoring, controlled access, thorough review processes, and adherence to industry best practices.
    As an integral part of the FedRAMP accreditation process, the FedRAMP environment is subject to a rigorous series of monitoring and review protocols, conducted by both internal teams and external auditors. This ensures that all aspects of the environment are consistently evaluated for compliance and security integrity. Furthermore, access to this highly secured environment is restricted, and the flow of data into and out of the FedRAMP environment is meticulously controlled to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches.
  • Sovereign: A sovereign cloud is a cloud computing environment designed to comply with the legal and regulatory requirements of a specific country or region. This type of cloud ensures that data residency, privacy, and operational compliance are maintained according to local laws and policies. The most common features of a sovereign cloud are that data is stored within specific geographic boundaries, limiting data access, data privacy and security.
