Cloud Storage Services

Cloud Storage Services allows you to set up and manage both active and long-term cloud storage for call recordings, screen recordings, and other file types. Active storage provides immediate access to files, while long-term storage requires a retrieval process that makes files available to you in 3-5 hours.

Secure External Access (SEA) allows you to securely export files from active storage so you can save them to your own storage. The files are automatically deleted from the SEA bucket after 30 days, but you can manually delete them sooner. You must use a third-party tool like CrossFTP (or any other FTP client), an S3 browser, or a custom script to browse, download, or delete files from your SEA bucket.

Once your system is configured to use Cloud Storage Services, you can manage lifecycle of files, long-term storage file retrieval, and storage configuration.

The file storage life cycle management, long-term file retrieval requests, and credential management each have an audit history tab that displays a table of information about the creation and last modification. You can see what was modified, when it was modified, and who did the modification. Audit history tables can become very large, so you can use search and filter tools to limit the display.

The following table lists the storage location of different types of files. The storage location of the call recordings of ACD recorder depends on whether on not advanced storage is enabled for you. To enable or disable this option, contact your CXone Account Representative.
