When you create a plan, you select the MUs or MU Set to include in the plan and 4 weeks of historical staffing patterns. This information gets used to calculate the:

This section describes the calculations for plan week 1 FTE actual.
Calculate FTE Actual for Plan Week 1

Calculate MU to CT actual FTE based on distribution percentage and MU FTE counts:
MU FTE per CT= FTE count * distribution percent
CT FTE = Sum (MU FTE for each CT)
If there are CTs not included in the plan (OCM CTs), decrease the FTE count by those CT percentages before doing the calculation.
The distribution percent changes for the distribution chart based on the new FTE to total 100% (new number for CT / new total FTE).
Example 1: All CTs included in the plan:
EG plan with CT 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8.
MU1 has 1000 FTE, MU2 has 750 FTE, and MU3 has 400 FTE.
