Text-to-Speech (Cloud TTS Hub) Troubleshooting
This page helps you troubleshoot issues that may occur with Text-to-Speech (Cloud TTS Hub).
TTS Voices Do Not Load or TTS Works Intermittently (Google Only)
This solution is applicable only if your TTS provider is Google TTS.
Symptoms:
- TTS voices are not loaded into the list in Text-to-Speech (Cloud TTS Hub) when creating or modifying a TTS profile.
- The CLOUD TTS action seems to work intermittently. TTS sequences
A segment of an audio prompt played for the contact. play partially or sometimes not at all.
Solution:
The Google Cloud Text-to-Speech API may not be enabled. Follow these steps to resolve this issue. If the issue persists after following these steps, contact your account representative.
- Log in to your Google Cloud Console.
- Select your Google Cloud project.
- Using the menu on the left, go to APIs & Services > Library.
- Search for Text-to-Speech API and select it in the results.
- Click Enable.
- Ensure that billing is set up for your project and that you have the necessary permissions enabled.
