Cloud TTS Hub Troubleshooting
This page helps you troubleshoot issues that may occur with Cloud TTS Hub.
TTS Voices Do Not Load or TTS Works Intermittently (Google Only)
This solution is applicable only if your TTS provider is Google TTS.
Symptoms:
- TTS voices are not loaded into the list in Cloud TTS Hub when creating or modifying a TTS profile.
- The CLOUD TTS action seems to work intermittently. TTS sequences
A segment of an audio prompt played for the contact. play partially or sometimes not at all.
Solution:
The Google Cloud Text-to-Speech API may not be enabled. Follow these steps to resolve this issue. If the issue persists after following these steps, contact your Account Representative.
- Log in to your Google Cloud Console.
- Select your Google Cloud project.
- Using the menu on the left, go to APIs & Services > Library.
- Search for Text-to-Speech API and select it in the results.
- Click Enable.
- Ensure that billing is set up for your project and that you have the necessary permissions enabled.
