Login Authenticator

Login authenticators manage your password policies.

Create a Login Authenticator

Required security profile permissions: Login Authenticator Create

1. Click the app selector and select Admin.
2. Go to Login Authenticator.

3. Click Create New.

4. Enter a unique Name for the login authenticator.

5. Enter a Description if you want one.

6. Select System or SAML 2 as the Authentication Type.

   Field	Details
   System	The login authenticator uses the built-in login process of CXone. It doesn't authenticate using an external single sign-on (SSO) identity provider.
   SAML 2	SAML 2 allows you to set up single sign-on through an external identity provider. CXone supports multiple instances of SAML 2. You can assign different instances to different users.

7. Click Create.

Assign Users to a Login Authenticator

Required security profile permissions: Users Edit

1. Click the app selector and select Admin.

2. Click Users.

3. Click the user you want to add to a login authenticator.

4. On the General tab, click Edit.

5. Under Security, select a Login Authenticator for the user.

6. Click Done.
