Security Profile WFM Tab: Forecaster Permissions

Required security profile permissions: Security Profile Edit.

This tab is only available when your environment is inContact WFO-enabled. When you create a new security profile, or modify an existing security profile, you can determine what kind of control users have over the specified components.

Forecast Runs

Enables users to:

  • Create — Create new forecast runs from the New Forecast Run and Manage Forecast Runs pages and to see the Forecaster New Forecast Run and Manage Forecast Runs links in the WFMv2 Portal menu.
  • List Others — View forecast runs created by other users in the list on the Manage Forecast Runs page.
  • View Others — View details of forecast runs created by other users.
  • Edit Others — Modify forecast runs created by other users.
  • Delete Others — Delete forecast runs created by other users.

By default, the Manager, Supervisor, and Agent system security profiles have the following permissions enabled:

Forecast Profiles

Enables users to:

  • Create — Create a new forecast profile on the Manage Forecast Profiles page and to see the Forecaster Forecast Profiles link in the WFMv2 Portal menu.
  • List Others — View the forecast profiles created by other users in the list on the Manage Forecast Profiles page.
  • View Others — View details about forecast profiles created by other users.
  • Edit Others — Modify forecast profiles created by other users.
  • Delete Others — Delete forecast profiles created by other users.

By default, the Manager, Supervisor, and Agent system security profiles have the following permissions enabled:

Special Events Profiles

Enables users to:

  • Create — Create a new special event profile on the Manage Special Events Profiles page and to see the Forecaster Special Events Profiles link in the WFMv2 Portal menu.
  • List Others — View special events profiles created by others in the list on the Manage Special Events Profiles page.
  • View Others — View details of special events profiles created by other users.
  • Edit Others — Modify special events profiles created by other users.
  • Delete Others — Delete special events profiles created by other users.

Outbound Profiles

Enables users to:

  • Create — Create a new outbound profile on the Manage Outbound Profiles page and to see the Forecaster Outbound Profiles link in the WFMv2 Portal menu.

  • View Others — View details of outbound profiles created by other users.
  • Edit Others — Modify outbound profiles created by other users.
  • Delete Others — Delete outbound profiles created by other users.

Export Forecasts

Enables users to export forecasts from the Export Forecasts page and to see the Forecaster Export Forecasts link in the WFMv2 Portal menu.

Forecast Accuracy

Enables users to run the forecast accuracy report with varying parameters on the Forecast Accuracy page and to see the Forecaster Forecast Accuracy Report link in the WFMv2 Portal menu.
