Customer Integration Tasks
Complete these tasks only if you are using Avaya IP Office version 10 and up.
Configure IP Office Authentication for DevLink3
You must create a rights group and service user in the IP Office Manager application for authentication of the DevLink3 application.
- In Avaya IP Office Manager, click File > Advanced > Security Settings and then click Rights Groups.
- On the Rights Groups panel, select DevLink3.
- On the Rights Group: DevLink3 panel, click the Telephony API's tab and select DevLink3.
- In the Security Settings panel, click Service Users, and then click DevLink3.
- In the Service User: DevLink3 panel, provide a Name and Password for the user you are creating.
- Under Rights Group Membership, select the DevLink3 checkbox.
- Click OK.
Configure the System for TCP
- In Avaya IP Office Manager, click File > Advanced > Security Settings.
- In the Security Settings panel, click Security > System.
- In the System panel, select the system hosting Avaya IP Office.
- In the panel for the system you selected, click the Unsecured Interfaces tab.
- Complete the System Password, Voicemail Password, and Monitor Password text boxes.
- In the Application Controls section of the Unsecured Interfaces tab, select the DevLink checkbox to enable TCP.
- Under Application Support, click in the Active column to enable support for TAPI, DevLink, and Network Viewer.
- Click OK.
