Install Erlang

Erlang nodes are used by RabbitMQ, which manages communication between Uptivity services and modules. For more information, see RabbitMQ Overview.

Before you begin this task, obtain the Erlang installer file from the Uptivity Installation folder.

This task must be performed on any server that will host RabbitMQ.

1. In Windows Explorer, locate and launch the Erlang installer (otp_win64<version>.exe) as an administrator.
2. On the Choose Components dialog, click Next.
3. On the Choose Install Location dialog, click Next.
4. Select Administrative Tools as the Start Menu folder and click Install.
5. Click Close.
