Custom Report Headers

If your report template generates a report in a format other than CSV, you can also add a custom header to the top of the report. You may want to include information in the header such as a date range or filters that were applied. You also have the option to style the header by determining how many rows it spans or adding a logo.

Once you create a custom report header, you can create a new custom report template or modify an existing one to apply the header to it.

Create Custom Report Headers

Required permissions: Custom Report Headers Create

1. Click the app selector and select Reporting.
2. Select Headers under Custom Reports.
3. Click Create New.
4. Give the header a unique Name.
5. In the Header Options section, select the data you would like to include in your header:

   Field	Description
   Include Report Name	Specifies whether or not the report name appears in the report header.
   Include Date Range	Specifies whether or not the report header contains the date range of data included in the report.
   Include Filters	Specifies whether or not the report header contains the filters applied to the data in the report.
   Include Last Updated Date Time Model	Specifies whether or not the report header contains the last updated datetime model. The datetime is listed in UTC time.

6. Determine if you want the report header to span Multiple Rows or be contained in a Single Row.

7. Click Next if you want to add a logo. If you don't want a custom logo, click Save and skip the next step.

8. Add a logo to the header.

   1. Select either Upload New or Select Existing. Your selection allows you to browse your computer for a new image to upload, or to open a list of already-uploaded images.

   2. Click Choose File or Browse to open a new window that enables you to select an image file for your logo from your computer or from the environment, respectively. Click Open or OK.

   3. Click Save.

   The logo is limited to 1MB or smaller in size, a maximum height of 2.5 inches, and a maximum width of 5 inches. Smaller images may be distorted if they do not fit the size of the component. The PDF format report does not support the logo.
