The Service Manager allows users to see the status of Uptivity services and centrally manage those services from within the NICE Uptivity Web Portal regardless of the server on which they are located. This topic explains how to start and stop running Uptivity services from the Service Manager. For more information on services used in Uptivity, see Services Overview.
To access the Service Manager, in the NICE Uptivity Web Portal, click Administration → Tools → Service Manager.
Starting Services
If you need to restart services that are currently running, you must stop them first. See below for instructions on stopping services.
To start a service:
- Click Start on the line of the service you want to start.
- Select the checkboxes for individual services to be started or click Select All.
- Click Start Selected.
If you want to start multiple services:
The status of the service(s) will switch to StartPending. Once a service has started, the status will display as Running and the Stop button will appear instead of the Start button.
Stopping Services
To stop a service:
- Click Stop on the line for the service to be stopped.
- Select the checkboxes for individual services to be started or click Select All.
- Click Stop Selected.
If you want to stop multiple services:
The status of the service(s) will switch to StopPending. Once a service has stopped, the status will display as Stopped and the Start button will appear instead of the Stop button.
