Disk Space Notifications

Disk space notifications are a special type of alert that can be used to monitor free space on drives the ArchiverA way to manage long-term storage of your recordings. service can access. If a specified drive drops below the notification threshold, Archiver can send a notification to a designated email address. For this information, see Email Alerts.

This topic explains how to configure thresholds disk space notifications. For more information, see Logging and Alerts Overview.

This topic assumes you are on the Disk Space Notifications page at Administration → System Settings → Disk Space Notifications.

1. Click the Add button.
2. In the Drive field for the new entry, type the drive letter followed by a colon. This can be for mapped or local drives, as long as it's accessible to the Archiver.
3. In the Notification Threshold field for the new entry, type the minimum free space (in megabytes) to remain available.
4. Click Save.
