LocationsLocations are part of your NICE Uptivity system topology and are typically developed by NICE Uptivity Sales Engineering. Every NICE Uptivity system includes a default location that should not be deleted.
Changes to Locations settings can have serious impacts on the Uptivity system, including loss of recording. Any changes should only be made by or under the supervision of NICE Uptivity Support.
Add Locations
- In the NICE Uptivity Web Portal, click Administration → System Settings → Location Settings.
- Click Add.
- In the Name field, type the name specified on the design document. If a name was not provided, type a name that will make the location easily identifiable. Do not leave the value set to Default.
- If you want to, in the Description field, type additional information about the location (up to 150 characters).
- Click Save.
Editing or deleting a location can have serious impacts on the Uptivity system, including loss of recording.
